Who doesn’t love potato wedges roasted in the oven with olive oil, salt, and pepper?

Next time you make them try sprinkling on some Everything Seasoning to give them a bit more deliciousness.

You could make your own everything seasoning or you can pick up a jar of Trader Joe’s  Everything but the Bagel Sesame Seasoning Blend, which includes sesame seeds, sea salt flakes, dried minced garlic, dried minced onion, black sesame seeds, and poppy seeds.

Besides adding it to a bagel and cream cheese or these yummy roasted potatoes the possibilities are endless…add to eggs, pasta, veggies, salads,  and I’m certain you will come up with some other great ideas!

For the roasted potatoes…

Ingredients

3 to 4 large russet baking potatoes, scrubbed clean and dried

4 tablespoons good olive oil

1 and ½ teaspoons Kosher salt

¾ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

Everything but the Bagel Sesame Seasoning Blend

Preheat oven to 450 degrees F

Cut into potatoes into wedges by cutting in half lengthwise first and then each half into thirds lengthwise.

In a large bowl, or zip-lock bag, toss with olive oil, kosher salt, and pepper till fully coated.

Spread potatoes in a single layer with one cut-side down onto a parchment lined baking sheet.

Bake for 30 to 35 minutes, turning to the other cut side after 20 minutes.

At this time sprinkle the Everything Seasoning on, tossing to coat. Turn potatoes to other cut -side down before baking for the final 10 to 15 minutes.

When the potatoes are golden and thoroughly baked through remove from oven and taste for any additional salt and pepper.

Serve as a side to your dinner.

I served them as a side to pan fried pork chops, fresh steamed green beans , and homemade applesauce.
