Sweet Cakes For A Sweet New Year

This evening marks the beginning of the Jewish New Year (5776, to be exact).

As we welcome the new year it is traditional to eat sweet foods to symbolize our wishes for a sweet year ahead.

In anticipation for the holiday I have baked two very traditional cakes
which I have posted on this blog previously. I will include the links
again for the recipes because they are just that good.

With all the tumult going on in our world today it is my sincere wish for a sweet and happy year ahead for all.
