Appetizer Demo Class

This past week I held my third class as part of an annual series of cooking demos our synagogue began offering three years ago.

The first one I did was on How to Prepare a Cheese and Fruit Board.  Last year the topic was  Passover Desserts (so good you can eat them any time of year)! 

This year the subject was Appetizers!  I selected four very different appetizers, but all have four things in common…

1.  They are easy to prepare, and can be made in advance.

2.  The ingredients are simple and readily available at most markets.

3.  The recipes will serve a group.

4.   Your guests will be wowed cause they not only look great but taste great.

CITRUS HERB OLIVES (as delicious as they are beautiful)

“OVER THE TOP”PIGS IN A BLANKET (served with a sweet/spicy mustard)

                                                                                                                                CHEESE QUESADILLAS  (served with salsa, sour cream or guacamole)

CAVIAR TORTE  (spread on assorted crackers)

Everyone enjoyed sampling the appetizers before going home with a packet of  new recipes in hand.  

They are looking forward to making them and impressing their family, friends, and guests at future gatherings!  

It was a fun afternoon for us all!
