Oh yeah!!! This is our favorite way to make BBQ ribs!!! We love the meatiness and chewiness of this cut of ribs.

We were introduced to Baby Back Ribs when we lived in Chicago many years ago.

Once I discovered this fantastic, tangy Sweet-Sour BBQ Sauce recipe (also in Chicago) we made our first attempt at grilling these delicious ribs.

We haven’t stopped making them since.  We have served them to family and friends over the years and everyone loves them!

I make a large supply of the BBQ sauce which I store in individual bottles in the fridge.  It keeps for a very long time.  It is also delicious on grilled chicken!

My husband does the grilling and basting, which is the secret to their deliciousness.  That old adage “practice makes perfect” must be true because these were the best yet!

I served them with these angel biscuits I took from the freezer left over from a brunch we had in January. Warmed up in the oven and served with honey, they were like ‘just baked.’

You will find the recipe for the  Grilled Ribs and the Sweet-Sour BBQ Sauce here. And to see how to make them without using rib racks see here.

Although we usually share them with guests we decided to make them for Mother’s Day this year for just the two of us.

Due to the pandemic, we connected with our kids on zoom sessions and phone calls.

My gift from my sons and daughters-in-law is a new cookbook from each which will be arriving daily, and my job is to guess who sent what!  I’ll keep you posted on that!  Looking forward to cooking lots of recipes from 4 new cookbooks.

But, that’s not all…my loving husband had this gorgeous flower arrangement delivered for Mother’s Day!. In my favorite colors!  It was a wonderful day!
