Happy Thanksgiving 2018! Hope everyone had a wonderful holiday filled with family, food, friends and fun.
However, the reality is not all are as fortunate especially this year with so much sadness and loss surrounding us, and closely affecting so many.
Our feelings of gratitude are even more profound as we recognize what others are experiencing during this holiday season. Our hearts go out to them, and our hope is for a better year ahead.
At our table this year we were happy to have my sister and brother visiting from Pennsylvania and Chicago. And of course, our sons and daughters-in-law were with us from LA and San Francisco.
My sister took charge of the table decor creating a beautiful centerpiece and some autumnal arrangements , and my kids sent a lovely floral arrangement in celebration of my birthday which was 2 days before Thanksgiving. (see flowers on the sideboard in photo above).
As you know we love our traditional foods for Thanksgiving so again , if you are a follower of my blog you will recognize most of our meal in these photos from past Thanksgiving dinners posted.
